NYSFAAA Annual Conference 2024: What To Bring
- Refillable water bottle. The convention center has water filling stations, so bring your own water bottle to refill on a daily basis.
- Raincoat or umbrella for day trippers. The convention center does not have a parking ramp so you will be parking at local ramps and outdoor lots. If the weather turns wet you will need coverage for the short walk to the convention center.
- Halloween costume! If you will be attending the after banquet entertainment on Wednesday night, wear your favorite Halloween costume for a chance to win First, Second or Third prize!
- Your appetite! Plenty of delicious food and snacks will be offered during the conference! Check out the menu options in the Whova app.
- Your school or institution logo wear for Thursday! Represent on our final day and comfy to head home in.
- If you are going to the Sabres game bring comfortable shoes and a coat! The Metro rail will not be running to take us to the game. We will be Ubering or you can choose to drive down to the arena and park for a fee.
- Cash to purchase the George Chin Scholarship fundraiser raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets!!!
- Bring the Whova app! Be sure to download the Whova app on to your phone or tablet. We are not printing a full conference booklet so you will need the app for session descriptions and locations.
